Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a project and data analytics professional to identify efficiency opportunities across the health system. You will develop qualitative and quantitative analyses, prepare proposals, and coordinate cross-department teams to implement improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in healthcare/finance, 3+ years in healthcare or consulting, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Travel across sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, finance or related field is required.
• Minimum of three years professional work experience, preferably in healthcare or management consulting.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting required. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Develops qualitative and quantitative analysis to support recommendations.
• Conducts research and collects data to support value-add improvements in clinical outcomes, operational efficiencies and/or financial performance.
• Prepares business proposals and presentations to communicate analysis and gain buy-in of suggested improvements.
• Communicates analysis to stakeholders to gain support for improvements.
• Develops detailed project plans and manages assigned team to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develops analytical tools to track performance after project completion.
