Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• RN license with Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Proven complaint/grievance handling and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient complaints and claims, including investigation and resolution.
• Analyze unusual occurrences and safety reports for liability exposure.
• Assist General Counsel and external counsel in litigation-related activities.
• Negotiate settlements for self-insured claims when appropriate.
• Represent Risk Management in committee meetings and risk reduction initiatives.
