Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a seasoned healthcare revenue cycle consultant to optimize patient access, registration, scheduling, and related processes for hospital and physician practices. You will lead engagements, analyze workflows, and drive improvements across front- and back-end operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare finance and revenue cycle, with hands-on experience in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner/athenaIDX) and strong communication skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of industry experience with EHR/Practice Management vendor systems, or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of industry experience with EHR/Practice Management vendor systems.
• Five or more years of healthcare finance, revenue cycle operations, clinical operations or vendor/consultant-based experience.
• Three or more years of experience with healthcare EHR vendor systems for large group practices or hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Develops central patient access and revenue cycle functions on a project basis.
• Assesses revenue cycles and reviews front and backend operations.
• Analyzes and redesigns workflow and conducts performance metrics.
• Reviews revenue cycle systems and charge capture processes.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and staffing recommendations.
• Oversees CDM assessment and maintenance and training activities.
