Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks a healthcare revenue cycle consultant to enhance financial and operational performance for physicians and hospitals. The role focuses on centralizing patient access, improving workflows, and benchmarking revenue cycle results.

You will assess cycles, review front/back office processes, and oversee system reviews, charge capture, and staffing optimization. Occasional travel may be required to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor degree plus relevant years in healthcare finance and EHR/vendor systems.
• 5+ years in healthcare finance, revenue cycle ops, or vendor/consultant experience.
• 3+ years with healthcare EHR vendor systems for large groups or hospitals.
• Epic Grand Central Certification and Resolute PB/HB are preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops central patient access and revenue cycle functions on a project basis.
• Assesses revenue cycles and reviews front/back office operations.
• Analyzes and redesigns workflow to improve performance.
• Conducts performance metrics and benchmarking activities.
• Reviews revenue cycle systems and third-party solutions.
• Reviews charge capture and reconciliation processes.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and staffing optimization.
• Oversees CDM assessment and maintenance tasks.
• Leads interim revenue cycle management for clients as needed.
• Travel may be required up to 100% based on client needs.
