Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex operational and supply chain initiatives. You will own project design, planning, execution, change management, and sustainment across multiple stakeholders in a healthcare setting.

The role requires collaboration with clinical, operational, financial, technology, and vendor partners, with emphasis on governance, metrics, and successful implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in healthcare or similar complex service environments.
• Strong knowledge of PM methods, governance, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from intake to closeout.
• Create and manage scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and change plans.
• Develop charters, workplans, governance, and stakeholder maps.
• Communicate plans and progress to teams, vendors, and senior leaders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Collaborate across clinical, operational, finance, IT, supply chain, and vendor partners.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions and readiness reviews.
• Ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget deliverables.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and impact.
• Maintain PM templates and dashboards for transparency.
• Monitor project benefits and KPIs with leaders.
• Coordinate vendor tasks and timelines.
• Develop action plans to overcome barriers and ensure success.
• Mentor coordinators and analysts for skill growth.
