Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center seeks a Program Manager to lead and prioritize programs and portfolios, coordinating multiple projects and teams to achieve engagement goals and business outcomes.

You will oversee scoping, planning, execution, analysis, risk management, and stakeholder reporting, provide leadership to project teams, and ensure staff and governance structures align with sponsors' expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5–10 years of experience in program/project management.
• Master's Degree preferred in Business/HC Admin or related.
• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• 2–5 years of supervisor experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma, PMI, and Project Management Professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee tasks and team members related to program/portfolio projects and related operations.
• Ensure programs/portfolios are staffed and organized through governance, reporting and communication with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership for development and implementation of projects, including requirements, work breakdown structure, timeline, dependencies, milestones, and charter documents.
• Advise sponsors and stakeholders in project prioritization and resource allocation for inclusion in a program/portfolio.
