Job summary

CORE Construction in Boise, ID is seeking a Sr. Preconstruction Manager to lead the healthcare preconstruction phase.

You will oversee estimates, scope breakdowns, bid coordination, and the transition from preconstruction to construction, while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and ICRA requirements. You will manage Assistant Preconstruction Managers, collaborate with clients and trade partners, and deliver basis of estimate presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years preconstruction experience.
• Healthcare construction experience required.
• Healthcare Construction Certification required.
• ICRA certification and/or experience.
• Experience supporting inpatient healthcare projects.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Building Connected, Construct Connect.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for healthcare projects and manage Assistant Preconstruction Managers.
• Oversee cost estimation, QTOs, and bid processes.
• Coordinate with clients, trade partners, and internal teams.
• Develop early cost models and value engineering options.
• Prepare Basis of Estimate and client presentations.
• Handoff to operations teams at project transition.
