Job summary

PKF O’Connor Davies in the United States is seeking an Audit Senior to direct a broad range of audit tasks within Healthcare engagements, supporting managers and partners in strategy, planning, and review.

The role requires 3+ years of public accounting audit experience, CPA progress toward CPA certification, and strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge. You will travel to client sites as needed and mentor staff while ensuring quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting from an accredited college/university.
• 3+ years of progressive audit experience in public accounting.
• Healthcare and Not-for-Profit engagement experience.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA certification including 150 credit hours.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and FASB regulations; ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of audit strategy, planning, and review with minimal partner involvement.
• Perform a broad range of audit procedures and manage field engagements at client sites.
• Prepare financial reports, footnotes, and client deliverables.
• Lead and train junior staff and interns; provide feedback and guidance.
• Travel locally to client sites as required and meet deadlines.
