Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Specialist for Network Recruitment, a remote role supporting provider contracting data and market strategies. You will work with internal teams and external providers to ensure accuracy and timely processing of contracts, travels for team meetings, and travel for occasional client engagements.

The role reports to the Manager, Network Recruitment and requires strong Excel and cross-functional project skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of healthcare contract coordination, provider relations, or similar role in managed care.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office or Google Suites with strong Excel skills.
• 1+ years of experience prioritizing and managing cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Use demographic data to create recruitment lists targeting network adequacy by geography, specialty, or member demographics.
• Support preparation, review, and execution of provider contracts and Letters of Agreement.
• Collaborate with Provider Recruitment to address provider inquiries and data-related contracting concerns.
• Oversee the Request to Join process and manage the Join Our Network mailbox to identify new provider contracts quickly.
• Generate reports on provider contract data updates and network status from multiple sources.
• Coordinate with departments to collect provider contract data for enterprise data systems.
• Maintain and verify provider contracting data in the network database and assist with updates.
• Provide support for special projects to ensure completeness and accuracy of the contracting database.
• Offer administrative support for screening and researching provider requests from various channels.
• Participate in process improvements to streamline workflows and improve provider experience.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
