Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, coordinates, organizes, and makes assignments for current and future requirements of assigned areas of responsibility.
• Analyses problems and opportunities from an organizational-level perspective and proposes innovative solutions.
• Evaluates and recommends a broad range of hardware and software products for applicability and long-range integration.
• Manages design, development, testing, documentation, and support of complex software.
• Communicates project status with timely memos, plans, and progress reports; visits with Users to stay abreast of issues.
• Provides oversight of data security, backup and recovery for assigned systems and manages interfaces between systems.
• Monitors system performance and coordinates changes with users and vendors; acts as liaison between customers and support organizations.
• Responds on a 24/7 on-call basis to urgent issues and coordinates resources to restore functionality.
• Manages human resources, performs coaching and mentoring to develop staff.
• Performs other job functions.
