Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Memphis seeks a seasoned Chief Medical Information Officer to lead clinical informatics across inpatient and ambulatory care. You will optimize the EHR, standardize clinical workflows, and partner with physicians and leadership to improve care quality and provider efficiency.

Reporting to the CMIO/CMOs and senior leadership, you will build physician data management programs, guide technology adoption, educate clinicians on new tools, and drive analytics-driven

Qualifications

• Current MD license in TN, MS, or AR.
• Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics.
• Minimum 3 years medical practice experience.
• Experience with Epic or major EHR platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization and standardization of inpatient and ambulatory clinical technology systems.
• Oversee physician data management and workflow integration to improve patient outcomes and clinician efficiency.
• Collaborate with CMIO, CMOs, and executive leadership to align physician technology with organizational needs.
• Drive analytics-driven change and policy development to support clinical IT systems.
• Educate physicians and clinicians on new physician-based technologies and workflows.
