Prisma Health is seeking an experienced IT Analyst within ITS Systems Integration to analyze clinical, business, and technical processes and develop cost-effective system solutions. Responsibilities include leading vendor liaison, managing project timelines, and ensuring data integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
Five years of IT experience in a healthcare/clinical setting preferred.
Knowledge of SQL databases and healthcare software applications.
Experience with project management software and tracking.
Familiarity with HL7, Perl, Java, XML, Linux, and Apache.

Responsibilities

Analyzes clinical, business and technical processes and develops cost-effective system recommendations.
Coordinates installation, deployment and production support of applications and hardware/software purchases.
Codes programs, maintains application tables, builds screens and supports customer requirements.
Leads customer relations and resolves issues related to software applications.
Acts as primary technical liaison with vendors for implementation and post-implementation activities.
Maintains contingency plans, mentors junior staff, and ensures on-time task completion.
Communicates status to departments and proposals to solve operational problems with IS.
