Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to perform advanced data analysis on hospital financial performance, compile reports for Financial Accounting, Internal Audit, Revenue Cycle, and leadership, and help develop best practices and tools for business analysis.

The role includes maintaining monthly dashboards, supporting annual operating budgets, and collaborating with IT Business Intelligence and stakeholders to improve accuracy and drive improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, business administration or related field.
• Three years of financial, budget or cost accounting analysis experience; experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Preferred CHFP and CPA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform complex data analysis related to clinical or financial performance; report findings to management.
• Independently compile and report information for Financial Accounting, Internal Audit, Revenue Cycle and department leadership.
• Develop and advance best practices and tools for business analysis and build monthly dashboards of key indicators.
