Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to manage complex data analysis related to clinical and financial performance for the assigned entity. You will compile and report information for finance, internal audit, and leadership, and help develop best practices for business analysis.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining monthly dashboards, analyzing revenue and contracts, and supporting annual operating budgets. Collaboration with IT BI and other stakeholders is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, business administration or related field.
• Three years of financial, budget or cost accounting analysis experience required; healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience with hospital patient data bases and financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with department leadership to resolve issues and report financial performance.
• Supports budgeting and maintains monthly dashboards of key indicators.
• Develops and reports revenue models and conducts contract performance analysis.
• Ensures compliance with internal audit requirements and data accuracy.
