Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to handle preventative and general upkeep in a healthcare environment. Duties include maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs to patient care, administrative, and public areas.

The role requires collaboration with campus teams and adherence to safety and quality standards. Shifts are evenings with 40 hours weekly in Plant Operations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required).
• Knowledge of basic mechanical systems and building maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and general maintenance on facilities equipment and systems in a healthcare environment.
• Repair and replace doors, ceilings, walls, windows, and moveable equipment; assist with painting and carpentry.
• Coordinate inspections, liaise with vendors, and ensure adherence to safety and building codes.
