Job summary

East Park Care Community is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep of building, equipment, and grounds in a healthcare setting. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to keep the facility safe and functional.

You will implement preventative maintenance, maintain records, and respond to emergencies as part of a collaborative maintenance team. Prior healthcare maintenance experience is a plus, with a high school diploma and relevant

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred.
1–2 years of building maintenance experience, healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds to ensure safety and functionality.
Complete carpentry, painting, and minor construction tasks as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, resolving issues timely.
Implement preventative maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and reliability.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with policies.
Assist in maintaining fire safety systems and emergency lighting.
Support after-hours emergency repairs as needed.
Collaborate with maintenance team and staff to ensure smooth operations.
