Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Senior Custodian to perform cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will handle tile, carpet care, stripping and waxing tasks in a dynamic hospital environment.

The role requires a valid CA driver's license, strong customer service skills, and ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Background checks and driving record verification are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Valid CA driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Previous experience in a service industry position.
• Previous experience interacting with internal and external customers.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Employment contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Custodian performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping and/or general maintenance duties in acute and non-acute in-patient, out-patient and non-patient areas.
• Performs resilient tile and carpet care maintenance tasks (stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction/shampooing).
