Job summary
Syska Hennessy Group in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Electrical Engineer Supervisor - Healthcare to lead and supervise projects as Engineer of Record. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and design teams, manage budgets, and drive staff development on healthcare facilities.
Ideal candidates bring a PE license, 7+ years of project management, 10+ years in a consulting firm with MEP focus, and strong CAD/REVIT skills.
Qualifications
- PE license required for this senior role.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.
- 7+ years of project management experience.
- 10+ years in a consulting firm; senior level in MEP.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Hands-on design with CAD/REVIT and staff leadership.
- Experience in Healthcare, Federal, Critical Facilities, Commercial, or Aviation projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Engineer of Record on dedicated healthcare projects.
- Supervise staff, coordinate meetings, and manage budgeting and scheduling.
- Prepare proposals and administer project contracts.
- Lead coordination with clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Develop design standards, specifications, and criteria.
- Oversee field reports, RFIs, and addenda processing.
- Mentor staff and contribute to firmwide Expert Teams.
