Job summary

HGA, a leading architecture, engineering and interior design firm, is seeking a Sr Project Manager for Healthcare in California. The role focuses on guiding design and delivery across healthcare projects, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, and ensuring quality documentation and client satisfaction.

Locations include Santa Monica or San Diego, with a strong emphasis on leadership, budget control, and collaboration across project stages to shape the future of healthcare design.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project management experience on complex healthcare projects.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and manage budgets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and teams.
• Proficiency with Project Management software and MS Office; Vision/MS Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principal to evaluate project requirements and define owner-architect agreement.
• Demonstrate mastery of scope, schedule, budget, and profitability to deliver on time and within budget.
• Manage multiple projects and client relationships effectively.
• Negotiate issues with Owner, Contractor, Architects, Engineers and Consultants.
• Supervise production of construction documents for multiple small renovation projects.
• Lead a full-service team to deliver quality documents, reports and cost estimates.
