Community Health Systems is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to serve as a high-efficiency technical expert and internal consultant across projects. You will design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models and NLP solutions to transform healthcare outcomes and optimize operational performance.

You will partner with clinical and IT leaders to translate data into scalable, automated solutions aligned with organizational goals, while delivering KPI-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of healthcare data engineering and analytics experience.
• 1 year of experience in a large healthcare system, hospital, or payer environment.
• Travel on-site 2-4 times per year for executive leadership presentations.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced analysis of clinical and operational datasets.
• Develop, test, and deploy ML algorithms to predict outcomes across service areas.
• Develop NLP/text solutions for documentation-focused workflows.
• Build data pipelines and visualizations with cross-functional teams.
• Leverage GCP for data storage, processing, deployment, and automation.
• Design experiments, interpret results, and present metrics to leadership.
• Adhere to organizational policies and SOPs.
