CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize digital solutions for Payer Operations. You will architect end-to-end integration patterns across cloud SaaS, Epic EMR interfaces, and data platforms, ensuring scalable, reliable data flows.

You will partner with Product and Business teams to refine requirements, implement best practices, and drive innovative AI-enabled automation while maintaining strong governance and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS.
• Hands-on dimensional data modeling, schema design and data warehousing.
• Programming in SQL, Python, and related languages for cloud/on-prem data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues.
• Experience with performance improvement techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: design end-to-end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS with core clinical systems.
• Quality & Resilience: conduct system testing, debugging and peer reviews to ensure reliability.
• Stakeholder Leadership: act as technical consultant to Product and Business leads.
• Innovation & AI: explore tools/frameworks and incorporate AI/ML to improve automation.
• Documentation & Governance: create architecture docs and best practices for self-service platforms.
