Job summary

Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) seeks a lead healthcare data analytics and reporting professional to manage collection, validation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of clinical, quality, and operational data.

The role supports performance, accreditation readiness, regulatory reporting, and strategic decision-making using data-driven insights and Power BI dashboards. Located in Kodiak, AK, with collaboration across health departments and partners.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in statistics, data analytics, data science, health information management or related field and healthcare data analytics experience.
• Minimum three years of Power BI experience with DAX, M and SQL; data transformation and dashboard development for large datasets.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead data reporting and analytics, interpreting outcomes, identifying trends, and troubleshooting data issues.
• Independently produce, maintain, analyze, and distribute dashboards and internal operational reports.
• Utilize EHR systems, population health platforms, databases, and software to monitor and report organizational outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to create customized data reports.
• Lead data retrieval, validation, and storage of quality, clinical, and operational data.
• Design and maintain custom reporting tools within EHR systems to extract and integrate data for Power BI.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities by presenting data analyses for performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with ANTHC and partners to validate population health management software.
