Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Senior Data Analyst/Lead to oversee data management, quality control, and reporting across complex projects. You will design automated data loading solutions, test data conversions, and develop advanced macros for research and analytics.

The role may supervise junior staff and requires strong SAS/SQL/R or Python experience, plus proven ability to translate data findings into actionable business insights for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years data management experience with SAS, SQL, R or other similar analytical programming language.
• Minimum five (5) years experience programming with SAS, SQL, R or other similar analytical programming language.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor level degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Science, Business or related field plus five (5) years in data analytics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of data management, quality control, and reporting; lead analytical programming efforts on multi-project engagements.
• Design automated reporting and data loading solutions; test data conversions and ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Develop macros for research and reporting; create quality checking and validation processes.
• Interpret analyses and translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders; prepare data-informed recommendations.
