Job summary

Axiom, a leading provider of on-demand legal services, is seeking experienced Contracting Lawyers in the Boston area. You will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of healthcare contracts and collaborate with procurement, IT, and business development to support commercial objectives.

You will develop contract management best practices, mitigate risk, and provide strategic guidance on complex agreements while staying current on healthcare regulations including HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of in-house legal experience within the healthcare industry.
• Proven expertise in SaaS, IT, procurement, and supply chain contract management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and HIPAA/HITECH and state privacy laws.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills with non-legal stakeholders.
• Active admission to practice law in your state of primary residence.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of healthcare contracts including supply chain, SaaS, IT, and procurement.
• Collaborate with procurement, IT, supply chain, and business development to support commercial objectives.
• Develop and implement best practices for contract management and risk mitigation.
• Assist in resolving contractual disputes and provide risk assessment guidance.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory developments affecting the business.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on contract-related issues to internal stakeholders and ensure compliance.
