Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Contract Negotiator III to coordinate and negotiate hospital, physician, and ancillary service agreements in a remote-TX role. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of contracting experience in healthcare, with knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare preferred.

Texas residency is required for consideration. The role involves creating SCAs, routing through SharePoint, and ensuring timely processing and posting of executed agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 4+ years of contracting or provider relations experience in a healthcare, managed care, or insurance related environment.
• Working knowledge of State and/or Federal health care programs preferred (Medicaid, Medicare).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and negotiate hospital, physician (IPAs, PPMs, individual providers, multi-specialty groups) and ancillary service agreements.
• Create SCAs with approved language and rates; route via SharePoint system.
• Notify management and post executed SCAs in assigned folders; assist with par provider options and alternatives as needed.
