Job summary

Centene is seeking a Contract Negotiator V to lead complex provider and vendor contract negotiations, strengthening strategic partnerships and supporting affordability and network adequacy goals. Preferred candidates reside in Texas, with responsibilities spanning market research, financial analyses, and executive-level reviews of performance data and scorecards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of vendor and/or provider contract negotiations, contract analysis and/or modeling experience in health care or similar industry.
• Experience negotiating contracts with successful outcomes and measurable financial results.
• Experience presenting negotiation strategies and results at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate vendor or provider contracts and manage implementations and ongoing relationships.
• Perform market research and analyses; direct financial analyses and operational reporting.
• Lead, manage, and track ongoing financial and operational success of designated partnerships; implement corrective actions as needed.
