Marand Builders, Inc. is seeking a dynamic General Contractor Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects from inception to completion. The role requires coordinating with diverse teams, managing budgets, schedules and quality across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, healthcare project experience, travel up to 30%, and strong leadership and communication skills. This position is based in Florida with on-site responsibilities across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in commercial construction, overseeing healthcare ground-up projects.
• Ability to manage 2+ projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project reporting software, MS Office and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budget, contracts, invoices, and schedule updates.
• Coordinate among subcontractors and resolve issues or conflicts.
• Organize, process, and distribute project documents.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Expedite documents and material/equipment deliveries to meet schedule.
• Maintain cost control data and prepare cost reports.
• Foster long-term relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and staff.
• Prepare short interval schedules for weekly coordination meetings.
• Oversee LEED requirements and ensure compliance.
• Administer document control for drawings, submittals, subcontracts, insurance, RFIs and notices.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for contract compliance.
• Process subcontractor payments and vendor invoices.
• Attend project meetings and disseminate minutes and rosters.
• Write weekly superintendent notes and manage close-out activities.
• Ensure safety rules are followed on site.
