Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. in Florida is seeking a seasoned General Contractor Healthcare Construction Superintendent to drive ground-up hospital projects, including ERs and clinics, from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in healthcare construction, strong leadership, OSHA 30, ICRA familiarity, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and the ability to travel up to 75%. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 10 years in healthcare construction overseeing ground-up projects (hospitals/clinics).
• Strong leadership and communication with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• OSHA 30-hour certification (within last 5 years) or ability to renew.
• ICRA certification and familiarity with local government entities.
• Proficient in project reporting software and blueprint reading; knowledge of codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety and company safety plans on site; lead safety culture.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings with subs and vendors.
• Maintain contract documents, field reports, and punch lists.
• Coordinate schedules with Project Manager and subcontractors.
• Ensure site cleanliness and proper on-site office setup.
