Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Project Manager to oversee small to mid-size hospital and off-campus design and construction activities, applying a broad knowledge of disciplines for design, construction, and installation of equipment.

The role includes supervising on-site construction, coordinating meetings with architects and engineers, and ensuring adherence to plans, specifications and safety requirements. A bachelor's degree and 1–2 years healthcare construction experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
1–2 years healthcare engineering construction background with supervisory experience.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

Supervise planning and feasibility study projects for the Engineering Dept. to support budgets and scheduling.
Oversee on-site construction, schedule subcontractors, and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
Review contractor payments and change orders; ensure safety and infection control measures.
Coordinate with architects, engineers and end users; secure building permits as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
