Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond, VA seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead capital construction projects for the Owner. The role collaborates with internal/external stakeholders, including architects and engineers, to fund, bid and implement the Design Package.

The position emphasizes controlling scope, budget and schedule while ensuring end-user satisfaction. On-site duties may include occasional night/weekend work to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in health care and/or institutional construction.
• In-depth knowledge of cost management, design, construction and PM.
• High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement and complete Capital construction projects per Owner requirements.
• Coordinate work of internal/external customers, architects and engineers.
• Manage scope, budget and schedule; act as Owner’s representative.
• May require on-site presence some nights and weekends depending on project.
