This role oversees budgets, negotiates with design and construction partners, and aligns long-term capital planning with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management; at least 7 years in healthcare construction.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as CHC, LEED AP, DBIA strongly preferred.
• Expert understanding of MEP/structural systems, life safety codes, public works standards, and healthcare delivery models.
• Experience approving complex technical packages, value engineering options, and compliance plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio of major clinical construction projects including imaging expansions and infrastructure modernization.
• Lead feasibility studies, design development, code compliance reviews, and contractor negotiations.
• Serve as senior liaison with clinicians, regulatory bodies, leadership, and design teams.
• Ensure capital projects meet federal, state, and healthcare-specific codes (NFPA, FGI, DNV/NIOSH).
• Lead system-wide environmental and safety risk programs.
• Oversee multimillion-dollar capital budgets and bond-funded programs.
• Negotiate with A/E firms, construction managers, and specialty consultants.
• Establish long-term capital planning and replacement schedules.
