Job summary

Just Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Construction Project Manager to take ownership of complex healthcare and commercial projects from preconstruction through completion. This is a senior-level, autonomous role for a PM who can lead projects independently, manage client relationships, drive financial performance, and coordinate all stakeholders.

Qualifications

8+ years of construction project management experience.
Experience in healthcare, hospital, or complex commercial projects.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout and turnover.
Develop schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and overall execution strategies.
Manage client relationships and provide regular updates on project progress, schedule, budget, and potential issues.
Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
Oversee subcontractor procurement, performance, and contract administration.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, project documentation, and closeout requirements.
Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, cost, quality, and staffing issues.
Ensure projects comply with building codes, safety requirements, contractual obligations, and healthcare construction standards.
Coordinate design and construction activities to ensure project objectives are met.
Resolve project issues and conflicts quickly and effectively.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure changes are properly reviewed and approved.
Lead project turnover and closeout while ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
Mentor and support Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other junior team members.
