Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Senior Coding Data Quality Analyst for a facility-based role in Allentown, PA. The position focuses on developing and maintaining a coding quality plan, training staff, and providing coding guidance to ensure compliant, accurate coding and reimbursement.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining reporting databases, and supporting physician and hospital coding quality initiatives. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in coding/abstracting of complex patient encounters.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS/CPT, modifiers, charge applications, and reimbursement methodologies (DRG, APC).
• Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills.
• Ability to train staff and support audits.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains a coding quality management plan at the network level.
• Trains and educates coding and clinical staff.
• Maintains database for internal reporting of quality outcomes.
• Evaluates documentation to ensure accurate code selection and respond to coding questions.
