Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide healthcare providers in modernizing infrastructure, adopting generative AI, and improving patient outcomes.

You will design HIPAA-compliant cloud architectures that connect with Epic and Cerner, while enabling AI-powered clinical workflows. You will partner with CIOs and CMIOs to lead technical engagements, develop reference architectures, and drive strategic initiatives across 30+ accounts, shaping how cloud technology

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT development or implementation in software or Internet industries.
• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, data & analytics).
• 3+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Healthcare industry experience / HIPAA/HITRUST; HL7; FHIR; PACS; EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing architecture discussions and PoC builds with healthcare IT and clinical leadership.
• Design and implement HIPAA-compliant cloud architectures integrating with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and HL7/FHIR standards.
• Drive adoption of generative AI and ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker, HealthLake) within regulated clinical environments.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, technical proposals, and cost optimization strategies for healthcare workloads.
• Build strategic relationships with senior healthcare executives across 30+ accounts and influence pipeline.
