Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to drive healthcare cloud transformations, modernize infrastructure, and enable AI-enabled patient care.

You will design HIPAA-compliant architectures connecting with Epic, Cerner, HL7/FHIR, and imaging systems, while guiding senior healthcare executives through strategic engagements. You will lead architecture sessions, deliver reusable reference designs, and partner with CIOs/CTOs to expand AWS adoption across 30+ health system

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT development or consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
• 8+ years in technology domains such as cloud computing, systems engineering, security, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience in Healthcare with HIPAA/HITRUST; HL7; FHIR; PACS; EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing architecture discussions with healthcare IT and clinical leadership.
• Design HIPAA-compliant cloud architectures integrating with Epic, Cerner, HL7/FHIR, and imaging systems.
• Drive adoption of generative AI with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, HealthLake in regulated clinical environments.
• Develop reference architectures, technical proposals, and cost-optimization strategies for healthcare workloads.
• Build senior executive relationships to influence pipeline and revenue growth across 30+ accounts.
