Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Business Analyst to support a large Health Plan initiative. This remote, contract role focuses on eliciting and managing requirements for healthcare operations including medical appeals and claims.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, ensure traceability, and drive readiness and training activities. The role requires 5+ years of related experience in healthcare or insurance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with standard analysis

Qualifications

• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage requirements for complex initiatives.
• Develop requirements approaches and management plans aligned to project plans.
• Communicate and validate requirements with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Maintain solution scope and requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive business readiness activities, including communication planning for changes to technology, processes, and people.
• Support and coordinate training to ensure efficient implementations and desired outcomes.
• Develop procedures and specifications for systems or process changes and coordinate cross‑functional implementation.
• Design and conduct post‑implementation audits and implement customer feedback mechanisms.
• Analyze workflow processes, design and test solutions, and assess organizational impacts.
• Manage requirements change requests and maintain documentation.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to measure performance and ensure data integrity.
• Present results and insights to business stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify business risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and escalation when necessary.
• Build and support vendor relationships and assist with training as needed.
• Provide oversight and peer reviews for less experienced analysts.
