Your Talent Team is seeking a Senior Job Captain Architect for a leading architecture firm in the Healthcare Division. The role is based in New York or Melville, NY, focusing on inpatient and ambulatory care projects with an emphasis on code compliance, coordination, and production of construction documents.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, excellent communication and client-facing skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Deep knowledge of NYC/NYS Building Codes, ADA, NFPA 2012 Healthcare, and FGI 2018 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in DOB and DOH code review and building analysis.
• Lead the production of architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents.
• Coordinate documents with other consultants and participate in RFI responses.
• Review and markup drawings; manage shop drawings and submittals during construction administration.
• Attend construction administration meetings and prepare field reports.
