Qualifications

• Accredited architecture degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of architecture experience with at least 5 years on healthcare projects.
• Lead architect on multiple healthcare projects.
• Current architect license/registration.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Outlook.
• Strong design and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to project needs.
• High level of collaboration and communication with team members.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements and prepare information for review.
• Collaborate with design leaders to produce preliminary design concepts.
• Perform research for complete project design.
• Inspect work for spec compliance, approve materials, and advise teams.
• Prepare contract documents for building contractors.
• Complete construction cost estimates.
• Provide code and jurisdictional research on projects.
• Check drawings and provide feedback to the project team.
• Administer construction contracts including addenda and change orders.
• Conduct on-site observation during construction and perform final inspections.
• Direct activities of other architectural team members.
• Seal and sign permit documents.
• May supervise training, assigning, and evaluating staff.
• Carry out supervisor responsibilities per policy and laws.
• Develop external and internal client relationships.
