Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to lead advanced analytic projects, solving strategic and research problems. You will wrangle large data sets and build machine learning models to support Revenue Cycle and Finance initiatives across operations and strategy.

The role requires strong analytics, data visualization, and programming skills, with experience in healthcare data and SQL. A Bachelor’s degree in business/finance is preferred, and the company offers comprehensive

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in business analytics & healthcare revenue cycle
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in healthcare data analytics and predictive analytics
Experience with structured relational databases and familiarity with unstructured data
Hands-on experience with SQL and data mining/machine learning

Responsibilities

Build, test, and implement machine learning models to aid performance improvement and strategic initiatives
Deliver insights to stakeholders within a set timeframe using advanced analytics, forecasting, and data wrangling
Design and extract large, complex data sets from multiple sources
Distill data into actionable insights to support operational initiatives
Evaluate data quality and support data governance activities
