CLEVELAND AREA HOSPITAL, a rural-focused Critical Access Hospital in Oklahoma, seeks a Senior Accountant to maintain general ledger, supervise month-end close, and support audits. This on-site role collaborates with leadership to deliver accurate financial information, manage cash flow, and strengthen internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting (healthcare preferred), strong Excel skills, and solid verbal/written communication.

Qualifications

Three years of accounting experience, including general ledger, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and month-end close.
Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and GASB standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day accounting workflow and perform month-end and year-end close.
Review daily cash activity and bank balances; reconcile subledgers to funds received.
Verify accounts payable coding for accurate general ledger classification and reconcile variances.
Audit corporate credit card activity, supporting documentation, and expense coding.
Manage 340B program accounting and related revenue recognition.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
