Capital Health is seeking a skilled accounting professional to handle journal entries, month-end closures, and financial statement preparation in a healthcare setting. The role requires GAAP knowledge and the ability to analyze revenue, cash, receivables, and related accounts.

Collaboration with internal teams and staff mentoring are key aspects of the job. The position supports various projects, budgeting, and audit preparations, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience: Five years’ accounting or finance experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
• Special Training: HFMA certification and/or CPA a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Performs accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Maintains logs and records of financial activity to support entries and analyses.
• Trains and mentors accounting staff and supports staff development.
• Performs account reconciliations timely and investigates discrepancies.
• Prepares financial statements and assists auditors with schedules.
• Supports budgeting, grants accounting, and capital reporting as needed.
