Job summary

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in the Baltimore area seeks a seasoned sales professional to renew and grow a book of large, complex accounts across indemnity, managed care, ancillary and life products. You will lead account strategies, coordinate with benefits consultants, and drive revenue through cross-selling and program installation.

This role requires a deep understanding of health insurance products, a current health and life license, and at least 10 years in sales/healthcare.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
Active Health and Life license for MD/DC/VA required.
10 years sales/healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Renew and grow a book of large, complex accounts across indemnity and managed care products.
Develop account-specific benefit and financial strategies.
Cross-sell products and install new corporate programs.
Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and benefits consultants.
Manage customer satisfaction and lead customer-facing teams during projects and sessions.
Resolve issues quickly with internal support teams and respond to feedback to boost engagement.
