Job summary

Bakerripley in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Senior Center Specialist to oversee daily operations of a Senior Health & Wellness center. You will ensure contract compliance, coordinate resources, and support program staff in a fast-paced environment serving older adults.

Responsibilities include community collaboration, program development, safety and cleanliness, and timely communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years of working experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Food Manager’s Certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Seek community collaborators to provide health education and resources to older adults.
• Create new programs aligned with the 8 Domains of Wellness.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for program participants.
• Communicate with supervisors and program staff about compliance, supply needs, and daily meal orders.
• Coordinate with partners to promote the agency’s image and program impact.
• Provide site coverage at other locations when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
