Job summary

BAKERRIPLEY is seeking a Senior Center Specialist in Houston to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Senior Health & Wellness center within Harris County. The role ensures high standards and compliance with AAA contracts, with adaptable workload in a fast-paced environment.

The position coordinates health education, nutrition programs, and wellness activities for older adults, while collaborating with community partners and internal staff to deliver impactful services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years of working experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Food Manager’s Certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a Senior Health & Wellness center.
• Seek community collaborators to provide health education, nutrition education, exercise, and other resources.
• Develop, create, and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for older adults.
• Communicate with supervisor and staff via email and phone regarding compliance documents, supply needs, incidents, and meals.
• Provide site coverage at other locations as needed.
