PAHO, the Pan American Health Organization, seeks a senior program professional to strengthen health systems, lead cross‑functional project work, and support resource mobilization across the Americas. You will coordinate with country offices, monitor performance, and help shape regional strategies for equitable, resilient health systems.

The role requires 7–9 years of relevant experience, advanced Excel and data tools, and fluency in Spanish and English. Portuguese or French knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, health or social science from a recognized university.
• Master's degree in social science or public health preferred.
• Studies in project management, PMP certification or related field is desirable.
• 7-9 years of combined national and international experience in health planning or project management.
• Knowledge of UN Resource Mobilization and Grant management is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support design, negotiation, implementation and reporting of technical cooperation projects.
• Ensure timely execution of projects and prepare progress reports.
• Act as liaison with country offices and coordinate work plans.
• Support performance monitoring and development of indicators.
• Provide strategic input for partnerships and new programs.
