Job summary

Correctional Healthcare Partners in Roseville, CA is seeking an experienced Assistant Health Services Administrator (AHSA) to support on-site healthcare operations at South Placer Jail. You will work with the Health Services Administrator to oversee daily workflows, staffing, reporting, compliance, and accreditation readiness, while balancing administrative and financial duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare administration, operations, or related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong experience with staff management, operational reporting, and data tracking.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support daily healthcare operations, staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee coaching, performance management, and retention.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and other operational and quality reports.
• Collect and organize data from multiple systems and present findings using Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools.
• Support NCCHC/ACA compliance, accreditation readiness, audits, and corrective action plans.
• Assist with budget monitoring, payroll, timekeeping, expenditures, and contract compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff, facility administration, custody leadership, HR, compliance, and CHP leadership.
• Represent the HSA in meetings or operational matters when designated.
