Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks a Senior Librarian to support health sciences information delivery, including reference services, consulting, teaching, and scholarly publishing.

You will engage in outreach for Jefferson Digital Commons, support data management and reproducibility discussions, and collaborate with the Academic Commons to provide consistent service and faculty development.

Qualifications

• MLS degree from an ALA-accredited program.
• 3+ years professional library experience in health care/health sciences settings for Senior Librarian.

Responsibilities

• Provide reference services online or in person to library users.
• Deliver in-depth consulting to faculty, students, researchers, and clinicians on information resources and bibliographic tools.
• Administer publishing workflows and participate in institutional repositories and open access initiatives.
• Teach information literacy and evidence-based practice in university and clinical settings.
• Collaborate on outreach, education, and promotion of digital scholarly resources.
