Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a Senior Librarian in the Information Services Department to support health sciences information delivery, teaching, and consultation across the enterprise. The role guides digital scholarship and publishing efforts for patient care, education and research, at the Dixon campus and beyond.

The candidate will provide reference services, conduct advanced literature searches, support systematic reviews, and collaborate on outreach and training across Jefferson.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Information Science or MLS from an ALA-accredited program.
• Experience in health sciences librarianship preferred.
• Knowledge of medical/health literature databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide reference services online or in-person.
• Deliver in-depth consulting to faculty, students, researchers and clinicians.
• Teach information literacy and evidence-based practice in university and clinical settings.
• Advise on scholarly communication, data management, and open access.
