Responsibilities

• Monitor and observe work activity and provide technical direction to prevent and control H&S incidents and hazards.
• Recommend improvements in basic processes, design, procedures, and operating equipment to minimize hazard potential.
• Maintain current knowledge of requirements imposed by governmental agencies and internal programs.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel working on environmental, health or safety programs.
• Assist work teams and vendors in resolving concerns and compliance deficiencies.
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through identification and correction of H&S hazards and risks.
