Job summary

Harrison Poultry Inc. in Bethlehem, GA is seeking a Complex Health & Safety Manager to lead the site’s safety programs across the plant, feed mill and hatchery.

You will develop and oversee health and safety initiatives, ensure OSHA compliance, and guide policy interpretation. The role requires five years of safety management experience in food manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to manage audits, training, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ relevant safety management/ compliance experience; experience within the food manufacturing industry preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years’ demonstrated experience managing direct reports with the ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals toward goal achievement.
• Strong leadership experience including successful conflict resolution, excellent interpersonal and influence management skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all activities surrounding health and employee/ occupational safety programs to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop, implement and maintain effective systems, procedures, and training for a healthy workplace.
• Lead site Safety and Health Plan and manage budgets supporting safety efforts.
• Manage regulatory permits and ensure timely reporting to agencies.
